Technology Requirement
Hardware (Equipment) Requirements
User/Learner must have adequate computer equipment (desk top computer, with a monitor and speakers), notebook, tablet, smartphone), pointing/scrolling device (mouse or touch pad), a headset if viewing in a public place), and sufficient skills to be able to receive the video course’s instruction.
Internet Service (Broadband Connection)
To receive video courses online you will also need a broadband connection (internet service). A basic computer, with minimum configuration will enable you to view our video courses, a faster computer, more memory, and a faster Internet connection, will always give you a better experience
Global Christian Learning Center require the user/learner to connect to the internet to view the video courses and to download the course’s ebook or other digital materials as may be needed. Your broadband service (internet service) should meet or exceed 3.0 megabyte down and 386 kilobyte up
Operating Software
Our website was developed to work with a standard PCs running the Windows operating software. We recommend that your computer has installed Windows 10.
External Storage Device
It is recommended that you have an external storage device (jump drive, flash drive, external hard drive, etc.) If you don’t have personal computer equipment (maybe you are using a public library or a friends computer, etc.) you will want to store the course’s ebooks on your personal external storage device.

PDF Reader
The user/learner must have a pdf reader, such as Adobe Reader (free download at https://get.adobe.com/reader/).
Anti-Virus Software and Spyware
It is recommended that your computer equipment have installed an anti-virus software program to protect yourself and others against any potential damage from a computer viruses.
Any user/learner who allows a virus to enter our website will no longer be able to access the GCLC’s website or allowed to download the course’s ebook until they can demonstrate that their system is clean and that they have an anti-virus software program monitoring their system.
Global Christian Learning Center recommends that you check your computing devices often (at least weekly) for spyware. We recommend using the most current available software.
Apache Open Office Software Suite
You may elect to download the free “Apache Open Office Software Suite” at www.openoffice.org. (Be sure to use the extension .org. If you use the .com extension it will take you to a commercial website and will charge you for it.) Apache Open Office is the leading open-source office software suite. Open Office included a word processor (Writer), a spreadsheet (Calc), a presentation application (Impress); graphics, a drawing application (Draw), a formula editor (Math), and a database management application (Base). It is available in many languages and works on all common computers. It stores all your data in an international open standard format and can also read and write files from other common office software packages. It can be downloaded and used completely free of charge for any purpose.
